Description
Salvation's Story is an independent game studio founded in 2014 by animation and video game veteran Joel Aaron Carlson. Salvation's Story is focused on bringing quality Christian educational and entertaining experiences to mobile and social platforms.
History
Early History
Joel Aaron Carlson first entered into the entertainment industry as a storyboard artist for Universal Pictures. For five years he worked in the animation industry on such projects as Barbie, Martha Speaks, Chaotic, Word World, Herobear and the Kid and much more. As a storyboard artist, Joel was able to break into the video game industry boarding for Electronic Arts' 'Fight Night Round 3'.
In 2005, Joel released his first indie game 'Steam Brigade', which won Gametunnel.com's 'Graphics Game of the Year' award. This set Joel full time into the video game industry as a concept artist, animator, and Art Director. His latest children's educational apps were created for SeaWorld.
Current
Joel started Salvation's Story in May of 2014 as a means to educate and reach children throughout the world. With a history of teaching art classes in church, Christian children's education has always been a passion for him. Salvation's Story is now poised to release it's first app 'Bible ABCs for Kids' in June of 2014.
